Transfer Applicants
IRWIN S. CHANIN SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
- Regular Decision Deadline: January 5
To be eligible as a transfer applicant:
- You must have completed at least one year of an accredited architecture program by June of the year for which you are applying;
- OR by June, hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent in a discipline other than architecture;
- OR submit a portfolio of your creative work and you have begun studies in a discipline related to architecture.
SCHOOL OF ART
- Regular Decision Deadline: January 5
To be eligible as a transfer applicant:
- You must have completed 18-60 credits of studio art courses OR previously earned a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than art.
ALBERT NERKEN SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
- Regular Decision Deadline: January 5
- Preference is given to transfer applicants that have completed coursework similar to The Cooper Union's first-year program at another accredited college.
